The American Petroleum Institute specification API 5L covers seamless and welded steel line pipe.  This is steel pipe for pipeline transportation systems in the petroleum and natural gas industries.  API 5L is suitable for conveying gas, water, and oil.  Size range is limited only by manufacturer's capabilities. Grades covered by this specification are A25 ,A ,B (and the following "X" Grades), X42, X52, X60, X65, X70, X80. The two digit number following the "X" indicates the Minimum Yield Strength (in 000's psi) of pipe produced to this grade.

3. X60 steel application:

X60 steel pipes is one mainly of Steel for large diameter pipes,API-X60 steel for the manufacture of buried pipelines for transporting natural gas can succumb to severe degradation due to corrosion by the soil through. The types of corrosion of steel that can be produced are often general corrosion and pitting.

5. Primer Blasting on the surface of the pipe: Bare, varnished, black lacquer, Bitumen Coating, zinc coating, anti-corrosion coating, 3PE,FBE,Epoxy, Cement Mortar, as per customer's requirement.

6. Quality Test: X-Ray test, Hydraulic Pressure, Impact test, Ut test, Cold forming 180, Magnetic Particle Testing and so on as customer request.

7. Package: Small sizes packed by steel strips into bundles, big sizes in loose pieces; can be packed as customers' special requirements

8. Payment term: T/T or L/C at sight

9. Trade Terms: FOB/CFR /CIF

10. Minimum quantity of order: 5 MTS
